We pay & maintain the solar, you buy power from 8p / kWh.
Up to 60% discount on current grid electricity prices – Future proof your electricity bill with a solar power purchase agreement from Aniron Renewables. Suitable for high consumers of power.
If you want to reduce and fix electricity spend without investing any capital upfront, a solar power purchase agreement (PPA) could be the ideal solution. Make the choice to procure ‘green’ solar power and reduce electricity costs whilst lowering the carbon footprint of your business. Benefit further from marketing green credentials to clients and demonstrating your corporate social responsibility commitment with sustainable electricity.
With a Aniron Renewables solar PPA, a high performance, quality solar PV (photovoltaic) system can be installed, operated and maintained at your premises with no cost and zero disruption to business activities. Aniron Renewables will design, install and maintain the PV system and supply your business with significantly discounted ‘green’ electricity. The Aniron Renewables Solar PPA tariff starts from as little as 8 pence per kWh (kilowatt-hour), indexed linked, for as long as 20 years.
At 8 pence per kWh, the Solar PPA is one of, if not the, lowest electricity unit prices available today. The tariff is linked to the Retail Pricing Index (RPI) rather than the more volatile Power Pricing Index (PPI) which enables business owners to future proof and predict their electricity bills into the future. The standard term for the Solar PPA is 20 years, however, your business can discuss owning the installation outright after 5 years at market value.
As part of the solar PPA, Aniron Renewables will also guarantee the performance of the solar PV system to ensure your business sees the benefit from the electricity that your building generates. There is no minimum purchase obligation, therefore your business will only pay for what is used.
Our step-by-step process:
Our expert in-house engineering team will assess the available roof space and evaluate the building’s current electricity expenditure and usage. If your business owns a portfolio of properties, a bespoke solar power purchase agreement can be created to elaborate further on pricing and anticipated bill savings reflecting the portfolio size.
2) Design and planning
We design every aspect of the solar PV installation for optimum performance. Our in-house planning team will liaise with local authorities if planning permission is required. In most cases, rooftop solar PV projects will be classified as a permitted development.
The financial transaction is very simple. Your business agrees to us using the roof space and in return a solar PV system will be installed at no cost. The occupier of the building will be supplied with the discounted ‘green’ electricity rate starting from as little as 7 pence per kWh unit through the solar PPA.
The Feed-in Tariff (FiT) received by Aniron enables these projects to be financed, through funding that has already been secured. This ensures a quick design and development process and your business can start making savings in a matter of weeks.
Our roofing expertise is unrivalled. Having already installed hundreds of rooftop solar projects all across the UK, our engineers are experts in their field and able to work across all different types of rooftops. Working around your business activities and priorities, our expert team will seek to minimise disruption during installation.
As part of the Solar PPA, the performance output of the solar PV installation is guaranteed, giving your business peace of mind and future pricing certainty. The system will be monitored by Aniron remotely in real time, providing detailed and accurate performance reporting. In the unlikely event of a technical fault, our team of locally based Aniron engineers are always on hand to attend on short notice. All maintenance costs are also covered by the Solar PPA so there is no additional financial risk to your business – just long term, discounted electricity prices.
We will also put in place extensive insurance to protect your roof and will be obliged to repair the roof in the unlikely event that the solar installation causes any damage.
